Partner rules
- Always tell your audience you earn a commission (for example, “I earn a small commission if you use my code”). U.S. law (the FTC) requires it.
- Describe DandyTale honestly: it makes brand-new illustrated stories starring a character you pick. Don't call it a “free book,” and don't say a child's own name or photo goes in the story.
- No spam, no paid ads that bid on the name “DandyTale,” and no posting your code on coupon or deal websites.
- You must be 18 or older. One code per partner, and you can't use your own code on your own purchases.

Questions
How much can I earn?
25% of what each new customer pays for their first purchase with your code: from $1.12 on a single book up to $18.00 when someone starts our biggest monthly plan. The full list is in "What you earn" above.
When and how do I get paid?
By PayPal, once a month, for the previous month's purchases. Payouts start once you've earned at least $10; anything under that rolls over to the next month. Purchases that are refunded don't earn a commission.
Do I need a big following?
No. Small, engaged audiences of parents, teachers and homeschool families are often the best fit. We look at whether your audience is parents or educators, not at follower counts.
What are the free book credits and custom character for?
So you can make real DandyTale books and show them to your audience. You also get 1 custom character, normally a subscriber perk: design your own hero and star it in your books. They never expire, and they're for approved partners only.
Can the program change?
We may update or end the program, and we'll email partners first. Commissions you've already earned are always paid.
