How are stories written?
Each story is written by an AI (Anthropic's Claude) from the character and story recipe you pick, and illustrated page-by-page by another AI (Google's Gemini). Every book is generated fresh — nothing is pulled from a template.
Where is my data saved?
Your characters and stories are saved to your account, not just this browser — sign in on any device and your bookshelf comes with you. Characters are a fixed cast for now, not something you create yourself.
What are the reading tiers?
Little Listener (ages 2-4), Early Reader (ages 5-7), and Confident Reader (ages 8-9). You pick a tier per story, so one family login works for kids of different ages.
How much does it cost?
See the Pricing page for the à la carte option and monthly plans. You can change or cancel your plan any time from your Account page.
Is my payment information safe?
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe — DandyTale never sees or stores your full card number.
How do I delete my account or data?
Contact us at [support email] and we'll take care of it. This is currently handled by a person on our team rather than an automated button, so please allow a few days.
